JOB PURPOSE: Perform the supporting operational activities necessary as part of the Manufacturing team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of Boiler,Cooling Towers, Air compressors, chiller Units, Effluent treatment plant and Dispose Off Red Sea Discharge Water on daily basis with quality specifications through company approved procedures in compliance with standards. Communication with day supervisor, shift team, for day-to-day plant operation requirement and to provide field support to Shift Team. Capable of Utilizing IT systems for reporting and data gathering. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Safely and efficiently operate process equipment in accordance with Company policies, procedures and work instructions while maintaining high level of competence in the job Ensure production targets and quality specifications are met. Complete daily reports/logs as required. Respond process adjustment on the basis of test results from process samples given to QC Lab. Prepare equipment for mainteance and raise maintenance notifications as per authorisation. Monitor and trouble-shoot both the process and equipment. Identify & report process deviations, equipment failures and hazards; and assist in plant investigations and problem resolution Actvie participation and successfully complete training and development activities. Provide on-the-job training for other operators as required Completes routine housekeeping and maintain high standard Responsible for collection and delivery of in process samples for laboratory analysis Participates in incident investigations Assists team members with tasks if & when required Prepares routine permits to work for their area (e.g. WAH, Hot work, Line isolations etc.) Capable of utilizing IT systems for reporting and data gathering Follows set procedures in the event of an emergency situation Competent in a key skill (Forklift operation/ driving, Bob Cat operation/driving, potable pumps operation confined space standby man), after completion of required training Ensures all operation records are well detailed, easy to understand and retrieve when required COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Shows commitment to, and actively plans development activities, for professional and personal growth. Operating Procedures reading and understanding knowledge. Observing safety in accordance with government and company standards Physically fit to do the job. Having the ability to utilize the proper control method for environmental aspects and prompt environmental management program (EMP) incorporated into Department/Division objectives Job Specific Skills: Carry out safety critical operational procedures Inspect and test integrity of safety critical equipment.
