Job DescriptionBasic FunctionInvolved in collating, processing and presenting data on, and able to run, projects of low complexity, or to assist more senior personnel on projects of low to high complexity. Can work in regional or global data processing Centre. Involved in: the processing of relevant data; the compilation and presentation of data deliverables; the appropriate QC of data and their own deliverables; and the production of data deliverables. Carry out administrative duties, including responsibility for maintaining accurate and complete survey logs. Has basic expertise in discipline applicable data processing/GIS software and keeps up to date on latest revisions.Key Accountabilities: Assist geotechnical engineer with routine geotechnical data processing, basic data presentation, report and procedure compilation for submission.Input geotechnical data to logging software and ensure completeness. Prepare project binders, control documents and monitor submission to client particularly on large reporting scheme project.Assist with all administration for efficient organization and function of the department including but not limited to project progress and status, resource monitoring, monitoring and tracking leave planning, schedule of geologists, personnel data profiles and information and handling. Maintain the engineering data base and keep track of backups and control.Maintain a project listing with relevant details, maintain library of technical references.Provide direct assistance to regional engineering manager in all general department matters and minuting department meeting when required.Ensure that Fugro policies and procedures are understood, implemented and adhered to by all employees.Qualifications / Skills / Experience required:3-8 years’ experience in similar role with CAD, Data Processing, Geotechnical vocabulary, gINT.Holding a Bachelor’s degree , Secretarial courseExcellent communication skills with fluency in English (written and verbal) mandatory.Role specific Behavioral competencies required:Learning Agility-Strong ability and willingness to learn from experience, adapt and embrace new situations.
