The Job Holder is the lead engineer within the BAE Systems Saudi Arabia IKIP Industrialisation programme with both technical management and delegated functional responsibilities for the overall development, definition, and successful implementation of the engineering contribution to the Prime Contractor (PC) In Kingdom Industrial Participation (IKIP) strategy. Key aspects of the role include: • As part of the BAESSA Industrialisation leadership team, and working in collaboration with Air UK, contribute to the re alignment of the IKIP Strategy encompassing continued growth of KSA Industrial Partnerships and Capabilities, and development of route maps that provide opportunity for KSA participation and business growth linked to the UK Future Combat Air System (FCAS) programme. • Working in collaboration with the Air UK business, lead and shape development of the KSA engineering contribution to the realignment of the IKIP strategy to UK FCAS. • Identification and development of engineering relationships with key KSA based Partners and Providers (Industry, academia, R&D) through which the realigned IKIP strategy can be delivered. • Lead the development and delivery of engineering solution proposals (utilising project delivery streams as appropriate) to support implementation of the IKIP strategy. • As BAESSA lead engineer for KSA Industrialisation programmes provide engineering functional leadership and oversight to both the IKIP Central Integration team and the project delivery streams to: • Ensure solution proposals comply to the engineering Functional Governance Manual (FGM) and have effective application of engineering policy requirements (incl of LCM, Safety, etc) tailored as appropriate. • Ensure IKIP programme resource/skill demands understood with appropriate supply solutions • Ensure suitably qualified and experience practitioners are utilised on the programme Provide demonstrable leadership and coaching to the development of engineering people talent within the IKIP programme.
