CompanyOur client is a semi-governmental Aviation Company. The company has more than 600 employees in a vast number of divisions and departments. They are currently looking for an Engineering Control Centre Technician to be based in Bahrain.Duties & Responsibilities: Day to day logging of all incidents into MAXIMO irrespective of the source (calls, emails, BMS, etc.) following the given procedures for call logging (log basic information, pre-classify, prequalify and prioritize incident)Monitors and observes all the critical systems in the ECC such as Building Management Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, VDGS, Passenger Loading Bridge, CCTV and Emergency Central Battery System for health checks, faults and triggered issues and ensure that the relevant issue is recorded and will be attended to by the team Assist in preparing reports for the management, senior engineers and other members on the preventive, corrective maintenance and incident reporting status and highlighting any delays by the team in attending to the maintenance requirementsManage inbound calls to ensure effective and timely resolution of customer issues and maintain records of inquiries or complaints as well as logs of interaction with stakeholdersAssist in triggering the Emergency Call Out Procedure as a facilitator by ensuring relevant individuals and stakeholders are aware of any emergency scenarios that has occurred and to ensure that the call out procedure is actioned accordinglyAssist in coordinating shutdowns of critical systems with stakeholders by informing them of the shutdown reason, duration and other details to accommodate for any impeding issues on the business. Handling of the defects liability period issues raised by FM or stakeholders and ensuring the same is reported to the main contractor for their action and ensuring issues are actioned accordinglyAssist in preparing procedures for the department and coordinating with Asset Department to ensure that the procedures are reviewed and integratedPreparation of presentations for the department as requested by the management.Qualification & Requirements:Must have experience in MaximoAt least two years of experience in similar position.Higher national diploma (HDN) or institute certificate, preferably in Engineering with at least 2 years’ experience or working within an Airport or a Maintenance Department.Good understanding of service contractor and strong sense of responsibility. Good technical understanding and capabilities of understating different causations.
