Job SpecificationLeads the monitoring and oversight of the EPC-2Civil & Structural Contractor Team field planning, coordination andexecution activities within designated area of responsibility across alldisciplines.Appraises the performance of the EPC-2 Civil& Structural Contractor Team in safety, quality, cost (as applicable) andschedule.Evaluates field change proposals by the EPC-2Civil & Structural Contractor Team to manage the NFE Onshore Project’smanagement of change process.Prepares and provides routine verbal andwritten progress reports to the NFE Onshore Project Head Pipelines/Civil Constructionand updates S-curve performance of the contractor with analysis to achieveprogress.Ensures that the EPC-2 Civil & StructuralContractor Team develops, implements and sustains its Safety and Qualityprogram at site. Assistthe EPC-2 Contractor in the coordination of activities between subcontractorsand SIMOPS with the operating facilities. Key Job Accountabilities Provides safetyleadership by example to the NFE Onshore Project Team and the EPC-2 Civil &Structural Contractor Team, its sub-contractors and site vendors As delegated by the Construction Head Pipeline/Civil,the incumbent is responsible for the implementation of the NFE Onshore ProjectSite Safety program which includes the SHES Activity Schedule. Responsible forensuring the EPC-2 Civil & Structural Contractor Team implements andsustains its obligations and responsibilities for SHES project deliverables NFE OnshoreProject EPC-2 Team Construction representative for monitoring and coordinatingsite activities of the Civil & Structural Contractor Team and itssubcontractor(s) in their area of responsibility. Reports on theconstruction activities, progress, areas of concern and mitigating actions.Leads appropriate weekly construction discipline review meetings. Prepares forand participates in weekly construction review meetings. Responsible forimplementation of execution activities and ensures development, review andapproval (as required) of appropriate plans, procedures, and programs for safeand effective execution. This includes authorization of RLIC permits. Providesaccurate, timely and routine reports to the Head Pipeline/Civil Construction onproject planning and execution activities Reviews andapproves the Civil & Structural Contractor Team construction sequenceplans, work plans, pre-task planning and method statements to ensurecomprehensive safety and feasibility in their area of responsibility. Leads incidentinvestigations with support from the SHES organization. Ensures Civil& Structural Contractor Team construction activities are completed inaccordance with NFE Onshore Project procedures, regulations, specifications,standards, and permit to work procedures as applicable, including relevant RLICprocedures. Daily sanctioning of permits and monitoring of work areas. Coordinate and correspondwith other parties and asset owners in RLIC corridors and crossing areas whererequired. Participates inthe review of subcontracts and ensures that adequate control and changes inwork procedures are established. Reviews andapproves construction field changes and extra work requests as delegated by theHead Pipeline/Civil Construction. Supervises andmanages NFE Onshore Project Team direct report project personnel. Assists NFEOnshore Project Construction Head Pipelines/Civil in executing his responsibilitiesand acts in his behalf during his absence. Demonstratesability to plan and schedule work (short term and long term) and ensuresexecution of work plan by subordinates (as applicable). Monitors andensures the correction of non-conformance report items and other issuessupporting QA/QC compliance. Monitors site material handling, prefabricationand warehousing procedures with respect to their area to facilitateconstruction progress. Minimum Requirements Bachelor or Associates degree in Engineeringor Science. Recognized degree in engineering orconstruction management, and or prior work experience or apprenticeship leadingto a thorough understanding of the knowledge described above. Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in civil& structural project execution Experience in major Construction Projects(including brown-field work) with total capital expenditure >USD$1B
