Civil Structural Engineer AMP Manager (TNAP) Job Description This position is for an AFCAP proposal request located at the Ali Al Salem Air Base military air base situated in Kuwait, approximately 23 miles from the Iraqi border. This effort is to support the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing (386 AEW. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. Basic Job Requirements The Civil / Structural Junior Engineer AMP Manager (TNAP). The TNAP must be a civil engineer. The TNAP AMP shall plan and develop projects IAW the approved base development plans. The TNAP shall also conduct root cause analysis of failing systems in order to accurately determine the scope of the projects. The TNAP AMP manager shall coordinate and host the quarterly Sub-AMP Working Group, according to The Activity Management Process Operating Instruction. The TNAP will also complete design reviews for pavement projects from the Operations Flight perspective. When construction by either the Operations Flight or a construction contractor is completed, the TNAP AMP manager shall update the Pavement Condition Index in PAVER (when available) with no more than two (2) errors per update. The TNAP AMP manager shall also serve as the engineering expert and liaison for the Traffic Safety Council.The TNAP AMP will assist the Government Structural technician in administration of the Facilities Structural Sub-AMP for roofing, wall, door, and window systems. This assistance includes standardization of structural sub-AMP processes with other AMPs, maintaining continuity binders and digital folders across military personnel rotations, and quality assurance of BUILDER data entries associated with structural systems. This assistance does not include requirements identification, design, and development of preventative maintenance plans and project priority lists for structural systems.
