Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Aid with technical requirements gathering and client meetings and implementing new Aveva Electrical and Instrumentation build. Maintain the Aveva Electrical and Instrumentation database for projects including backups, reports, data integrity, etc. including the customization of reports and drawing loop templates as per project requirements Trouble-shoot and solve Aveva Electrical and Instrumentation problems to ensure project integrity Aveva Electrical and Instrumentation Administration module including creating symbology, reports, system maintenance, etc. Produce setup documentation detailing the Aveva Electrical and Instrumentation setup as per scope of projects. Good understanding of requirements and prerequisites for the use of process data and the “Process engineer” module. Follow department and client workflows and standards Create auditing requirements and checking for quality assurance of the design effort Help develop automation enhancements Design loop template drawings, custom reports, Datasheet customization in a given time period, adjusting to project requirements. Develop and maintain the Mcdermott Electrical Load list as per project requirements with implementation of plant operating cases. Essential Qualifications and Education: 4 years’ experience in the use, administration and support of Aveva Instrumentation and Aveva Electrical Strong aptitude for project planning and implementation of new design software Knowledge of MSSQL server and the ability to write queries will be considered as an asset Strong verbal and written communication skills is a must have to effectively work with the engineering disciplines Aveva Dabacon knowledge an advantage Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team including process, mechanical, civil-structural, electrical, instrumentation, and CAD support Company Overview and Core Values: McDermott is a premier, fully-integrated provider of technology, engineering and construction solutions to the energy industry.
