Electrical and Instrumentation Technicianis part of Services team. Worksclosely andcoordinates with Field Service, Commissioning Engineers, Commissioning & Field ServiceLeader and othermaintenancestaff to ensuresmoothand effectiveoperation of the site under operation or commissioning. Reportsfield conditions,findingsandtakes appropriate actionwithCommissioning and Field Service Leader. RESPONSIBILITIES:TheElectrical Instrumentation Technicianis responsible butnotlimited to thebelow tasks:Functionallyreports toCommissioning & Field ServiceLeader• Investigates, diagnoses, report, and recommends correction of abnormalities occurring in any partof the plantsystem or plant utilities to ensuresafeoperationof theplant as perthestated procedures. Generate the preventive maintenance schedule and follow up and implement the schedule (control panels maintenance, motors monitoring, breakers and overload sittings, measuring instruments calibration)• ResponsibleforreportingMaintenance activities toCommissioning or Field service Engineer. Responsibleforsafework areabyisolatingtheequipment/systemfrom potentialhazardoussourceandto authorize work executor tostart workby applyingLOTO devices, the executionof the workshallbefolloweduntil the completionof thejob• Responsibleformaintenance,safeand smoothoperation forMotors , electrical panels , PLC panels, instruments, valves VFDs, power panels for installation, preventive and corrective maintenance and services. Experienced with all type of motors, VFD programing, instruments setup, PLC –monitoring and loop test, asses motors in term of vibration, temperature, current, control circuit troubleshooting, PLC troubleshooting, cable specification, MCC troubleshooting,follow the O&M procedures andactivities,order the required spare parts and install them,• Regularlyvisit the sites in the MEA under operation and complete preventive maintenance, fill and update the history cards.• Routinemonitoringofstatic and rotary equipmentandinitiate necessarymaintenanceworks to avoid equipmentmalfunctioning & damages• xecute assignedtasksefficiently as pertheinstructiongivenbasedonplant requirementand update thestatus periodically• Demonstratescontinuouseffort toimproveoperations, decreaseturnaroundtimes,streamlinework processes, workcooperativelyandjointly to providequalityservice.• Reviewsallchemical MSDSto determinecorrectaction while performing maintenance for the chemical dosing control panels, sensors and pumps.• ssstCommissioning and Field service Engineer oninvestigating & troubleshooting theequipmentdisturbances,equipmentmalfunctioning and notify theconcern department responsibleintimefor necessary actions.• riteshiftactivitiesclearly in organizedmannerinfieldlogbook andcommunicate shiftactivitiesdistinctlyto shift relieverforfurtherfollow-up• Responsibleformaintainingdaily activityloglikefieldisolation,fieldinstrumentsvalues,motor,pumpdata, etc...• Apply andfollowplantEHS proceduresincluding handling of hazardouschemicals,confinedspaceactivities,chemicalspillcontrol, LOTO procedure andevacuation & emergency procedures.• Adheres toEHS &Quality processes andprocedures,checksjobsitesfor potential hazardsandreportswhenthings againstcompany policies.• Maintainsappropriate housekeepingforplantfacilitiescooperatingwithother departments.• Ability to workindependentlymostof thetime, but report tohissupervisors.QALIFICATION&REQUIREMENTS:Diplomain Electrical, instrumentation orequivalent.Othercombinations of experienceandeducation thatmeet theminimumrequirementswill beconsideredork experienceofminimum3-5yearsinWater andWasteWaterTreatmentroven experiencein UFand ROplanttechnologyKnowledge on plantsafety andEHSGood communicationskillsinEnglish.Arabicknowledgeadvantageous.DESIRED CHARESTERICTS:Ability to work per priority, dealing withcomplexityand resultdriven ork experiencein alargeWater treatmentplant process, Chemical, O&Gplants orPowerplants.Excellentinterpersonalskills and agood team playerReadytowork on rotating shift,familiar withshiftduties andwilling toworkin avariety ofweatherconditionswith exposure to theoutdoor harsh conditions (heat anddust), and traveling 70% of the time Knowledge on MS officesystem to enter dataorinformationintosystem.
