Volantes Technical recruitment are currently seeking B2 Licensed Engineers for one of our leading clients based in Kuwait. The B2 Licensed Engineer is primarily responsible for the delivery of a serviceable aircraft and engineering facilities, capable of fulfilling the operational requirements of the customer.You must hold one or more of the following type ratings:EC225AS365N3EC135The successful candidate will be offered a shift pattern of 8 weeks on 4 weeks off. In addition, the job offers an attractive tax-free salary as well as benefits such as car share, first class accommodation, gym membership, flight allowance and end of contract bonus.Key Responsibilities The B2 Licensed Engineer is responsible for the completion and certification of Avionic & Electrical systems related tasks, as defined in the MOE, on the Company’s aircraft either carried out directly by him/ her or carried out by non-certifying engineers; They ensure the work is accomplished in accordance with approved data and Company policies and procedures, including:Completion of all paperwork and documentation;The issuing of all approved materials to the work via the Company’s computer systems;All work is completed using approved tools and ground support equipment;All work is completed in a safe and appropriate manner considering risk to personnel, property and reputation;The working environment is approved and appropriate to the task being undertaken;All tooling is accounted for prior to return to service;All post maintenance actions have been completed;Completion of maintenance as directed by the Chief Engineer or Central Planning team;Reporting defects to the Maintenance Manager or Central Planning Department;Reporting issues regarding matters of Health and Safety or Flight Safety, via the Company’s reporting system;Additional duties as directed by the Chief Engineer or Central Planning team.Health and SafetyMaintain a safe and healthy work environment by complying with all Company standards and adhering to legal regulationsBe aware of personal health and safety and the health and safety of others at workEnvironment and SustainabilityMinimise our environmental impact by complying with all Company standards and adhering to regulatory requirementsBe mindful of the impact our operations and your actions may have on the environment, and be proactive in identifying ways that we can improve Essential Skills and Qualifications Strong maintenance related technical knowledge of avionics and electrical systems;A good working knowledge of the regulations and requirements associated with aircraft maintenance, Health & Safety and Human Factors;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;EASA or CAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence;Familiarity with OEM appropriate to helicopter types operated;The ability to work alone and the willingness to travel. This role is shift based and situated in Kuwait. Desirable Skills Willingness to work outside of normal working hours;Excellent interpersonal skills;Confident, approachable and enthusiastic;Accurate, numerate and excellent attention to detail;Team player with the ability to work with a degree of autonomy.
