Job Description and Qualifications POSITION SUMMARYAir Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, has an immediate opening for the position of a Principal Process Systems Engineer in the Process Technologies group of our Process Gases Product Line Department at our Dhahran Techno Valley office in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.Air Products is a world leader in gas separation and purification. We have enjoyed a long and successful history developing and implementing technologies for complex gas synthesis, separation, purification and liquefaction using a variety of techniques, including steam methane reforming, gasification, autothermal reforming, ammonia, CO2 capture, hydrocarbon cryogenic distillation, hydrogen and helium liquefiers, etc. The Process Engineering group of the Process Gases Product Line is responsible for selecting the most appropriate technologies, designing the process cycles, and developing preliminary process duties and high-level equipment specifications meeting customer or project requirements. Our work is an important factor contributing to winning bids which eventually lead to executed projects.Work as part of the PGPL Process Technology team based in Khobar-DTV to support proposals and PDP work for opportunities involving electrolysis, fuel cells, ammonia cracking, hydrogen liquefaction, Steam-Methane reforming. Process Gas Product Line (PGPL) is responsible for proposals, product development and early engineering development of world-class facilities of the order of several billions of dollars.This is a combined Process + Process Systems role.We Are Inviting You to Join the Air Products Team through our Women Engineer and Technical Apprenticeship (Development) Program ( FETA ). The FETA Program provides an opportunity for very hardworking women to develop engineering and technical expertise, while learning from and networking with leaders and professionals throughout our organization. The most meaningful characteristic is to arrive with the desire to learn so you can build skills for your personal skills’ toolbox.FETA is specifically crafted as a 2-3 year rotational program where you’ll receive both the hands-on and soft-skills training that will help you advance your career at Air Products. Through the rotations you will develop your engineering and professional skills as well as get a better understanding of your interests and strengths. The rotations will be in different engineering and/or technical areas, and different company locations.Potential areas for engineers can include but are not limited to, engineering, project management, project controls, construction, and supply chain. At least one of the three assignments will be based in a plant location. We are targeting a program start date of March 2022MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONSB.S. or M.S. degree in any engineering field with 0-2 years of experienceMeaningful work experience through jobs, co-ops or internshipsProven leadership – examples: through involvement in on-campus or community activities, participation on governing boards, leading teams, mentor, tutoring, etc.
