Job DescriptionThis role will provide Engineering support on a wide range of turnkey telecoms projects. The primary tasks will include Systems Design, Preparation of Engineering Documents, Testing and Telecoms Systems Commissioning. The role will assume Project Manager responsibility for major SI projects and deputize for the Engineering Manager in their absence.In this role, you will collaborate with the Project Management Group to ensure the effective delivery of projects and services to SI customers, and with the Sales Group to ensure the effective delivery of technical consultation and estimates for bids and proposals.Job Responsibilities: Contribute to meet or exceed the SI calendar year financial targets and growth metrics for Orders, Revenue Delivery, and EBITA.The detailed design, testing, installation, and commissioning of systems as required.The Engineering Management of SI projects.Financial Management of projects ensuring the financial management system is kept up to date providing an accurate forecast of the financial performance of projects. Minimizing the cost to the company, meeting and aiming to improve the forecast margin on all [Register to View] provide effective management of all the project’s Stakeholders during the project lifecycle.Liaison with Suppliers and third parties to ensure the smooth completion of projects.Assist the Project Management group with the successful delivery of each Project within timescale and to budget ensuring that all agreed customer requirements are met.Support the Quality program within SI operations which ensures compliance and maintainability of an ISO certification across the SI organization performing appropriate game checks to audit/monitor our discipline to this program.Support the commitment of an HS&E program across all technical work groups that provides the appropriate training, awareness, and job planning for zero incidents and accidents, both in the office or customer worksites.Includes travel for customer meetings, vendor system testing, installation, and commissioning on site.
