Job DescriptionDeliver process designs in FEED and EPC projectsUndertake process design work of units as required and check work on the project as appropriateExecute process engineering activities within the budget and schedule, as well as maintaining technical integrity of the designsDevelop the basis of design, undertake detailed calculations to develop the design and be responsible for the accuracy of these calculationsEnsure that detail design methods, standards and data used conform with Client's requirements and / or those issued byWoodPrepare Process Flow Diagrams, Equipment specifications, Process Descriptions and P&IDs for review and approvalEnsure a high standard of safety is achieved and Environmental and Quality Assurance procedures are followedPerform safety related calculations and provide input to Hazops, SIL and other safety reviews as directedContribute where necessary to review of supplier quotations and reviews of the project 3D CAD modelEnsure that requirements of Licensor's Secrecy Agreements are known and complied within the work performedParticipate in technical meetings and handle discussions with client engineersAssist as required in the preparation of Operating ManualsSkills / QualificationsChemical Engineering DegreeChartered Chemical Engineer status (desirable)Experience of working on FEED and EPC projects for onshore oil and gas projects, ideally with experience of energy transition projectsProven core Process Engineering skills, including design experienceSkilled in resolution of technical process design issuesExcellent verbal and written communication skills and good organisational awarenessAbility to respond to customer needs whilst achieving project and corporate objectivesDisplay analytical and innovation skills tosupportmanagement ofnew technologyWith over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining, Automotive and Chemicals sectors worldwide.With more than 100 offices in 45 countries, we are able to provide our clients with the engineering and technical expertise they need, wherever and whenever it is needed.
