Job DescriptionLooking for Lead Flow Assurance Engineer with Synergy Pipeline Simulator software experience .Lead Flow Assurance Process EngineerRequirements: 15 + years’ experience in flow assurance studies in oil & gas projects.Candidate should be able to lead small to medium projects. Typical responsibilities include steady state and transient analysis hydraulics studies in SPS.Report writing, scope development for 3rd part subcontracts for hydraulics in OLGA.Review studies carried out in OLGA for multi-phase pipeline systems.Support to Instrumentation & Pipeline etc.Experience on Aramco or Middle East projects preferred.Significant experience in DNV Synergi Pipeline Simulator (SPS).Candidate should also be able to work in Process Engineering.Perform surge analysis on existing pipelines to determine if surge relief systems are adequate for current and projected operational needs and identify solutions to address any potential insufficiencies.Evaluate model performance against actual pipeline performance to identify and execute improvement opportunitiesOptimize DRA cost by analyzing the optimal DRA dosages for each crude grade and batch sizeSupport Automation Engineers regarding valve timing, automated shutdown/slowdown logic and pipeline operating & control philosophiesParticipate in Client’s incident investigationsExpertise in modeling/analyzing batching liquids of varying viscosities through a pipelineCoordinate with other disciplines to collect data required for hydraulic studies.Detail Design, FEED, Project Proposals, EPC and Conceptual StudiesProcess Simulation using SPS, HYSYLEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIESProviding technical guidance to co-workers;Proposing staffing solutions and training and development opportunities;Organizing and supervising work of a large group of professionals and non-professionals, or small groups of highly specialized engineers;Providing input into salary recommendations, performance evaluations and other HumanResources activities;Being accountable for unit deliverables;Making recommendations on staffing and other Human Resources activities.Requirements:Bachelor of Science in Chemical/Mechanical and registered as a professional engineer with significant experience of 15 years.Has experience in the oil / gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries and is recognized as specialist in a specific engineering field on large to mega projects.Must have thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
