It is anticipated that the applicant will have at least15 years total experience in the field ofLead Airport System Engineer. The requirements of the position are as follows: Performing comprehensive design review function to ensure quality design and best practices are implemented. Managing a team of engineers and Inspectors to ensure proper quality control and that the work performed complies with all requirements of the contract documents, drawings and specifications. Reviewing mock-ups, method statements and shop drawings. Developing site planning and procedures for the execution of the works. Coordinating design changes on site and ensure that design is followed through. REQUIRED SKILLS REQUIRED SKILLS A relevantDegree qualificationin Engineering or Equivalent Minimum of 15 years of experience. Experience on airport projects. Good analytical and problem-solving skills Candidate with airport projects experience will be at an advantage ATTRIBUTES: A team player with the ability to establish good working relationships with clients, line management and project. Good technical, analytical and organizational, skills. Flexible approach to work and the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail and the ability to make good judgments. The Ministry of Public Works (MPW) through Mega Projects Sector - Kuwait International Airport Department desires to engage an experienced international firm, herein referred to as the consultant to perform the Consultancy Services for Construction Supervision of Package No. (3) Aircraft’s Apron, Taxiways and Service Buildings for the New Terminal Building (II) at Kuwait International Airport. The project, has been designed by NACO in association with Gulf Consult, and is currently under tender. The Consultants will provide staff for the duration of the Construction Period of 24 months in addition to 3 months Project Close-out.
