General Description of Role and Responsibilities:Review the contract documents and advise the Contracts Manager of any deficiency. Review and comment on the reviewable design schedules as submitted by the Contractor and ensure the Design Schedule complies with the overall project construction programme. Review and approve/comment on the procurement schedules as submitted by the Contractor and ensure the procurement schedules are in compliance and coordinated with the construction programme. Review and continuously monitor against construction programme the Contractor’s major construction progress and monitor that equipment and manpower are adequate in compliance to the construction programme. Any shortage to be reported to Construction Manager. Review in detail the recovery schedules as submitted by the Contractors Review reports submitted by Contractor and report to Construction Manager any deficiency or non-compliance. Review any claim involving time impact submitted by the Contractor and report his assessment to the Contracts Manager. Review field design changes and Trend Notices and assess time impact if any. Advise the Construction Manager of any foreseen slippage of progress and corrective actions to be taken. Attend weekly progress meetings and monthly Executive meetings and participate in preparing the agenda. Assist Contracts/Construction Managers during the preparation of Progress reports and Executive Presentations. Reviews the commissioning plans as submitted by the Contractor and ensure its compliance with the approved construction programme.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Ten to fifteen years of experience in a similar role. Extensive knowledge of Primavera P3 or P6 is required. Experience working on PPP projects, claims, and EPC/Turnkey projects is highly desirable. Possessing a PMP-SP (Project Manager Professional - Scheduler Professional PMI) Certificate or an equivalent certificate. Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines. Excellent command of written and spoken English. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and in team environments.
