A leading regional engineering firm is looking for a Design Project Manager to join the team.The ideal candidate will successfully manage and execute small to medium-sized projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, quality requirements, and contract obligations. Responsibilities:• Manage projects (e.g., complete work plans, identify project team members, budget, sub-consultants, schedules for completion, fees, and costs, variation orders, etc.)• Ensure the smooth implementation of projects and their adherence to Project Charters, Milestones, Objectives, plans, and all other related documents• Provide presentations and ongoing supervision to the Authorities approvals and licenses team and guide in case of implementation activities• Maintain effective personal and professional relationships with key people/officials in Ministries, Municipality councils, etc.• Provide technical support to all departments with respect to regulations and design rules • Prepare and perform project review meetings with PMO Director on a regular basis to report on progress, expenditures, changes, and challenges• Conduct interviews with clients to understand their needs, confirm requirements, obtain information, and ensure that all design facets of the projects are correctly scoped; develop an insight on how to proceed with the concept design of the project• Maintain client relationships throughout projects by keeping clients informed about project progress on a regular basis• Communicate with consultants, contractors, sub-consultants, and other disciplines to ensure project details are carried out and that any technical issues are resolved• Direct and manage project execution plan through leading the team, coordination with other departments/sections, and client interface• Foster and maintain a collaborative atmosphere with all sections of the Design Department• Review and approve project layouts and integrate engineering elements into unified designs for client review and approval• Ensure the quality management plan is initiated and adhered to through the project lifecycle• Perform risk management checks (Qualitative and Quantitative) through identification of possible risks • Identify, report, and Handle any variations in the scope of the project and prepare and approve change estimates in a timely manner.• Ensure delivery and sign-off on the deliverables/tender documents• Support the Supervision Project Manager during the construction phase and ensure adherence to design intent as well as handling RFI on any design aspect during the construction phase Requirements:• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering• Certification in LEED AP is preferred• Certification in PMP is preferred• 12-15 years of experience• Proficiency in using Revit modeling software, AutoCAD, Primavera
