• Manage all devices on the network, ensure only authorised devices can access the network. • Manage the use of software, ensure only approved software can be used on the network. • Monitor security and audit events to detect and prevent malware and unauthorised data access. • Govern privileged access to systems, ensure authorised access is appropriately approved, recorded, monitored. • Monitor configuration of all managed objects on the network, ensure secure operation of hardware and software. • Configure network infrastructure components for maximum security and access control & auditing. • Operate processes and tools to manage, audit and monitor proper use of accounts and credentials • Manage service incidents and changes via the Service Management processes. • Track IT purchases and ensuring relevant documentation is forwarded to the finance department. • Coordinate interfaces between incident management and other service management processes. • Drive the efficiency and effectiveness of the incident management process.
