Job description Role Purpose:Analyst is responsible to identify company and sector-specific drivers and utilize fundamental valuation skills to provide impacting research and generate trading ideas, whilst staying abreast of industry news and catalysts to assess and relay their potential impact on equity securities to our clients.Role Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Lead research coverage on 6-10 stocks within MENA financial markets, based on the respective sector.Performing financial analyses of companies under coveragePreparation of financial forecasts and completion of valuation modelsWriting equity research reports that conveys the results of the valuation process and the investment recommendationCommunicating with clients over the investment recommendation and following-up on client requests and inquiriesUpdating financial models and investment recommendations based on industry developments and stock market directionsEstablishing and maintaining strong relationships with the management of companies under coverage Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or any other related field.MSc degree or higher would be a plus.Passing of CFA level II would be a plus. Experience: 2-5 years’ experience in Equity Research, Investment Banking, Asset Management, Corporate Credit, Corporate Finance or any other related field Job-Specific Skills: Strong writing skills. Experience in equity research writing would be a plusStrong quantitative skills.
