Reporting into the Customer Marketing Manager for MENAPT Cluster, you will play a focal role in developing the Customer Marketing strategy for SCJ brands in Egypt. You will be in close collaboration with Category Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain Teams. You will do deep analyses of the market, customers and shopper dynamics, will come up with insights to be converted into action plans across the channels. You will also be working with global Customer Marketers in order to acquire global principles, guidelines and tools while providing them the local dynamics and needs.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead development of Category Development Strategy to achieve defined business objectives for categories in charge by designing in-store strategy covering multiple pillars; i.e. BTL communication and in-store materials, price architecture, category assortment, planogram and consumer promotionsLead market execution of new launches, define quarterly cycle priorities and cascade the plans on channel basis to the field team through meetings and quarterly distributor meetingsLead cross-functional relations with key stakeholders; Category Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain TeamsManage the budget in charge while overviewing Trade Money initiativesResponsible for management of shopper/channel initiatives and investments for the categoryUtilize multiple data resources for better understanding of market trends, competition, channels as well as shopper insights driving a high-quality channel/trade plansUtilize Nielsen reports on monthly basis to understand the market on region basis as well as define opportunities for market share and distribution acrossSupport Sales Team in the development of Joint Business Plans with major customers and distributors securing an alignment on activationsWork on defined processes to develop promotional packs, performance trackers for sales, shares, distribution and initiative ROITakes an active role in S&OP process ensuring the connection between marketing plans and market execution and salesRequired Skills / Experience / Competencies:Graduate degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or similarCommercial FMCG background with at a solid practical experienceAt least 5 years and plus of experience with preferably in customer/trade marketingStrong command of English (written and verbal)Understanding and knowledge of the Egypt retail environment and FMCG dynamicsStrong use of MC OfficeHighly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritizeStrong communication and team working skillsStrategic mind set, understands the strategic & tactical nature of the businessAnalytical skillsPreferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:Understanding of Nielsen syndicated dataMulti-function and multi-tasking abilitiesClear understanding of the different RTM principles/strategies for channelsTeam building skillsSelf-starter, acting with integrityJob Requirements:Full time job (for 5 days a week from Sunday to Thursday)Friendly working environment based on collaboration and trustOther duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assignedat any time with or without notice as assigned by the Manager.
