Job Description :Company Our client is a well-known Luxury lounge for an Aviation company. The company has more than 600 employees in a vast number of divisions and departments. They are currently looking for a Director - Food & Beverage to be based in Bahrain.Duties & Responsibilities: Hospitality leadership of the lounge teamModel the hospitality initiatives of the loungeEnsure F & B exceeds guest expectationsEmpowers a customer happiness, revenue driven and cost conscious focusMaintains lounge appearance and functionality to world classInspires colleagues to deliver world class serviceMaintain a focus on the company's hospitality brand and hospitality pillarsEnsure regular training (at a minimum once per month) engages all with the hospitality ethos and hospitality pillarsEnsure new hires receive a quality on boarding experience, great training and positive coaching from the lounge leadersLiaises with airline and airport counterparts to be fully aware of guest feedback and quality of guest satisfactionProvide inspiring guidance to the lounge team to enhance and influence the overall guest experienceIn partnership with the head chef continually evaluate and develop new food and beverage concepts and menusInstall a culture of openness where problems and frustrations are discussed and resolved at all levelsInspects lounge cleanliness and janitorial standards with the House KeeperEnsure all operational standards are met in regard to sanitation codes and relevant laws, food storage, food safety, fire regulations, health & safety, and loss preventionMake safety everyone's responsibility. Regularly bring to front of mind issues of guest safety, colleague's safety and your own safetyEnsure security protocols are maintained and effectiveAnalyze F&B cost-performance and staff costs and determine appropriate actions to maintain/ improve standards and cost managementLiaise with procurement in the negotiation and implementation of all lounge contracts and the relationship with vendorsQualification & Requirements:Bachelor's degree in hospitality & hotel management or food service management3 years minimum work experience within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurants or lounge operations.Must have experience in leading large teams with financial and management responsibilitiesMust have excellent English language communication skills and both verbal and written presentation technique.Proficient in Computers and related programs (Word, MS Office, Excel)
