Principal Software Engineer (Cortex XSOAR)
XSOAR is a Security Orchestration, Automation and Response family of products that were formerly developed by Demisto (acquired in 2019). XSOAR is a comprehensive Security Operations Platform that combines full case management, intelligent automation, and collaborative investigation. During 2020 we added a new module to the platform - Threat Intelligence Management, as we continue to lead the market of SOAR with innovation. What to Expect:
Handle the most critical and complex tasks of the group
Be able to take on new major projects and introduce new technologies
Proactively challenge the domain activities and influence the domain goals for the quarter
Lead by influence - Be a driving force in our engineering culture
A go-to person for any and all questions with a deep understanding of our architecture and our vision for it
Working within the engineering teams to implement architectural decisions and guidelines
Analyze complex and unreproducible bugs reported from customers
10+ years in software engineering with various languages, frameworks, etc.
Strong understanding of production environments
Strong debugging skills
Experience with Docker and Linux OS.
Experience and knowledge of DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins and CircleCI
Problem solver. Open-minded, original thinker, and creative
Excellent communication & presentation skills, verbal and written skills in English, and ability to coach others
Nice to Have:
Deep knowledge of Python
Experience with cloud platforms. GCP - A plus
Participated in at least 2 large products from scratch to production
Security principles and techniques (encryption, vulnerabilities, software security compliances, and authentication protocols)
A thorough and methodical approach to any task, Ability to plan, conduct, prioritize, track and measure processes
Good sketching and modeling skills
Proactive by nature
Experience in delivering open source products
