Plan, create and implement tailor made solutions for Key clients for movement of both General Cargo and Dangerous Goods and ensure their profitability . Get involved in direct customer activities, attend sales visits, drive the customer through BIC/GSP . Create and develop good relations with interest groups of own business areas . Coordinate customer relations with sales . Assist in long term service contracts with carriers and service providers . Assess and follow up on service quality provided by sub-contractors . Formulate freight strategy and organize its implementation for own country and the rest of the countries in the Middle east . Control and develop reporting processes and systems in accordance with DHL guidelines . Evaluate function performance and business results and initiate improvements . Develop policies and procedures to establish clear and transparent working policies with DHL Business units, sub-contractors and suppliers . Analyze market and company data and act accordingly . Manage all commercial decisions like (pricing/ strategies) related to Air & Road with full alignment vrs country national results . Develop common traffic methods and volumes in cooperation with the respective DHL business units for both Air and Road Transportation for the whole region . Establish and improve working relations with DHL Business units . Plan and implement development (both unique and standard) in Air and Road Transport operations . Manager the needs and expectations of selected major customers whose requirements often sit in Off Net solutions and work with nominated support staff in order to ensure we satisfy all requirements of these key accounts . Follow up and evaluate off net solutions for both Air & Road . Continuously develop DHL Knowledge, commercial awareness and own skills to provide the best possible standard of sales practices and maximize own contribution to selling process and major customer support . Manage the relation with suppliers to enhance the service level we offer to the customers . Plan, organize and control performances and usage of resources . Improve commitments . Provide technical and expert support to commercial team members . Manager Freight Champions (dedicated Freight Sales) on commercial basis with alignment to BIC / GSP . Chart needs and plan training for both internal and external clients . Contribute in trainings sessions (Air,Road) arranged by HR department YOUR PROFILE:Exhibits an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness and empathy. Analyzes and resolves complex cross-functional issues. Well-developed relationship skills and ability to network with multiple levels of an organization and other business units. Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline and/or 10-15 years of experience in Ocean Freight Forwarding / Ocean carriers / high volume retailers with Ocean Freight business in the area of transportation, logistics or supply chain.
