The successful candidate will have the opportunity to spearhead the growth of IDC’s industry specific tech research products and services in the Kingdom, develop thought leadership, contribute to consulting engagements and speak at conferences about tech trends across various sectors such as government, healthcare, education, oil and gas, retail, etc.The candidate should have a very good understanding of the latest technology and digital transformation trends within at least 3 of the above-mentioned industries. Responsibilities Develop IDC Saudi Arabia’s Vertical Markets research agenda, author reports and thought leadership documents, and contribute to data products like trackers, spending guides etc. in a timely manner based on quantitative and qualitative research.Deepen IDC’s research across key industries by constantly engaging with key stakeholders across different verticals, understand industry specific technology use cases and translate market insights into actionable intelligence for IDC clients.Deliver and lead custom research projects on Industry Ecosystems, digital trends across Verticals, Tech Providers’ Vertical Strategy, and related areas.Communicate and amplify key research results via online or live presentations, IDC events / conferences and client workshops.Support IDC's sales, consulting, and marketing teams by working on project proposals and developing market offerings, creating marketing materials etc. Qualifications At least 8-10 years of experience in the technology sector, with at least 3-5 years in technology or management consulting related to technology or digital transformation.Strong research and analytical skills and a sharp eye for detail. A broad understanding of digital trends across industry sectors, with willingness to delve deeper into industry digital ecosystems patterns and use cases.Excellent Public speaking and good interpersonal communications skillsGreat time management and planning skills, being a self-starter who can work to tight schedules, balancing changing priorities of incoming work with scheduled delivery deadlinesWillingness to be an excellent team player with a strong attitude to collaboration within and outside the core teamIntellectual honesty and positive attitudeUnderstanding of the Saudi ICT landscape and Arabic proficiency will be a key differentiator Excellent MS Powerpoint and Excel skills.
