Parsons is now hiring a Planning Manager who can lead a team of professionals overseeing every phase of mission critical projects or programs. Objective: To manage the department of the scheduling for the Water Distribution Sector (WDS) and ensuring the quality of submitted schedules in line with NWC specifications and best practices. In addition to develop the operation processes, procedures and the associated tools and templates for the department in line with the best international practices. Monitoring approved schedules update and Projects Trending via P6EPPM, Team Member, integration with ERP and Primavera Unifier. Main Tasks: Review and approve of Water Distribution Sector schedules (Baseline – Revised) in line with NWC scheduling Management Manual, PMM, Governance and Polices. Review, analyze and approve submitted schedules for the extension of time and grace period Coordinate and manage the preparation and development of schedules with consultants. Developing Monthly Scheduling Report for WDS with Dashboard. Review schedule trends to identify problem areas and recommend corrective action to management. Monitor Schedules Updating from WDS-Business Units and track the performance of projects. Monitor progress and Identify deviations (progress trends) in all schedules Major Milestones and suggest possible courses of corrective action Working closely with the Project Team in Business Units to ensure that the schedule is realistic, complies with the Project Construction Methodology, Contractual Deliverables, and Documents Interface periodically with the BU planning Engineers. Developing Quarterly WDS projects Cashflow. Developing Quarterly performance Assessment and Expected finish date for WDS projects. Monitoring projects Deliverables and major milestones from slippage of key dates Assist in the analysis / approval of any claim for time extension or major change to the schedule Assist in Developing / Applying of P6EPPM and Primavera Unifier from Scheduling Perspective. Ensuring that each Scheduling Engineer runs his section to the highest professional standards, that all information is current, and that every member of the team is receiving the information he needs to fulfil their responsibilities. Establish and maintain consistent and adequate administration procedures, in scheduling field. These procedures will be followed across the project by the respective planners working under the BU Projects Managers. Identify and report main issues interfering with progress Identify and report on measures for improving schedule performance Preparing workshops and training for scheduling engineers. Required qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in engineering preferably with post graduate degree in project management or relevant subject.Preferable holding Certification in Scheduling Management. Required Experience:The minimum total experience shall be 15 years since graduation with significant part of this experience in planning and project management for Infrastructure Projects (Water and Wastewater)The last 5 years shall be in a senior position managing department within project organization.
