Job DescriptionJob Responsibility:Responsible for the provision of Contracting, Sourcing and Logistics services within the Contract including Preservation. Responsible for the quality, audit ability and governance of the Contracting, Sourcing and Logistics processes.Lead the team of Sourcing and Logistics professionals.Well versed in contracting, material planning, sourcing & inventory management.Responsible to develop strategies and drive continues improvements in all SCM aspects.Conduct Market Intelligence and support Company to identify additional suppliers to raise competition levels.Deliver and Maximize Cost Saving Opportunities in line with Contract Optimization review (COR).Responsible to develop cost modelling and capacity of cost bench marking within the procurement teams.Ensure vendors are well managed and vendor delivery performance targets are met.Assist Companys Materials Category Managers with data and demand analysisShall report directly to the contract manager.RequirementsQualification:Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or Business Administration. Membership of internationally accepted applicable professional institute will be a plus.Experience:Minimum of 18 years of experience in Contracting and Sourcing, Inventory management, Cost modelling and Change management with at least 7 years in a senior position preferably in an oil and gas company in and around the Middle East region.General:Extensive knowledge of supply chain management processes and systems, commercial inelegance best practices. High fluency in English language, written and spoken, with excellent communication and man-management skills. Interpersonal Skill, Good Team Leader.Principal Accountabilities:Ensure implementation of relevant governance model, Sourcing and Logistics models, relevant policies/procedures within the Contractor’s organizationEnsure effective compliance monitoring for the overall Sourcing and Logistics processes.Process owner for the Sourcing and Logistics Systems.Ensure all systems and methods are strictly followed and made use off.Ensure fair and transparency is maintained when dealing with Vendors and sub-Contractors throughout in accordance with business principles.Ensure fair and equitable dealings especially with Omani Local Community ContractorsBenefitsAs per Qualification and Experience.RequirementsQualification: Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or Business Administration.
