IT Product Sales Manager should possess a strong drive for results offering necessary product knowledge and tactics translating into successful sales. Objectives:•Attending initial sales meetings and meeting the client•Decide whether the software or hardware needs adapting to meet the client’s needs•Presenting your findings to a technical team to act on, and then to the client•Planning the sales strategy and Optimization of sales•Searching for clients who might benefit from the company’s products•Documentation and control of target achievement•Negotiation of terms and contracts with clients•Reporting to Top Management•Develop a scalable sales process and ensure representatives adhere to it correctly•Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and monitor their preferences•Resolve escalated customer issues and customer complaints regarding sales and service•Provide pre-sales and post-sales service support and assistance•Attend marketing events (e.g. conferences or trade shows) representing the company Requirements and skills•5 years + in a management position in the IT field•Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets•BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field•Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences•Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization•Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close•Strong business sense and industry expertise•Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills•Excellent technical knowledge•A keen interest in IT issues•The ability to write reports and proposals•The capacity to work well on his/her own or in a team•The ability to manage his/her time and plan the day effectively
